We all know that a railway station is a place where trains come and depart from.
Passengers entrain and detrain at the railway station.
In every railway station there are platforms along the railway lines.
There is invariably a building on any one of the platforms.
The building houses offices of the Station Master,Signaller,Booking clerk,parcel clerk and goods clerk.
There is also a waiting room for passengers.
In the platforms,there are tea stalls, book stalls,and sweetmeat stalls.
In the waiting rooms or on the platforms,passengers wait for the arrival of trains.
In big stations, there are overbridges for safe movement of passengers.
When trains arrive at the station, it gets very busy and noisy as well.
Passengers get ready to get into the train.
Some passengers get down from the trains.
Cookies are also active to carry the luggage of passengers.
Vendors and hawkers are found walking up and down the platform selling their goods with their peculiar trade cries.
The noise at the station subsides as the train departs the station.
Big railway stations like Howrah, Sealdah, Chennai and Mumbai are very for surface communication.
